Classes & Attendance

Paid addon — Organize students into classes (cohorts), associate courses, track attendance and generate detailed frequency reports.

Overview

Classes are student groupings that allow organizing the platform into cohorts, semesters or sections. Each class can contain members and associated courses, plus a complete attendance tracking system.

Creating a class

1

Access Classes

In the admin panel, click Classes then Create class.
2

Fill in the information

Set:
  • Name (required) — E.g., “Class 2025-A”
  • Custom code (optional) — E.g., “2025-1-A”
  • Description (optional) — Additional information about the class
3

Add members (optional)

Search and add students and teachers to the class. You can add up to 100 members at once.
4

Add courses (optional)

Associate courses with the class. You can add up to 50 courses at once.

Managing the class

Members

On the class details page, the Members tab shows all participants:
  • Avatar, name, email and role (Student, Teacher, Admin, Owner)
  • Button to add new members (search by name or email)
  • Option to remove members individually
Removing a member from the class does not cancel their enrollment in associated courses.

Courses

In the Courses tab, view and manage courses associated with the class:
  • Each course shows title, category and status (Draft, Published, Archived)
  • Button to add new courses (search by title)
  • Option to remove courses individually

Class status

A class can be Active or Archived. Archived classes remain available for reference but don’t accept new members.

Attendance tracking

The attendance system allows recording and monitoring student frequency.

Recording attendance
