WhatsApp Integration

Paid addon — Connect a WhatsApp number to the platform to send automatic notifications and messages to students directly on their phones.

What it does

WhatsApp allows the platform to send automatic messages to students about important events, such as:
  • New courses and lessons available
  • Practice exam reminders and deadlines
  • Certificates ready
  • Administrator announcements

Setup (Administrator)

Connecting WhatsApp

Go to Admin → Integrations → WhatsApp

On the integrations page, find the WhatsApp section.

Create an instance

Click “Create instance” to generate a new WhatsApp connection.

Scan the QR Code

A QR Code will be displayed on screen. Open WhatsApp on your phone, go to Linked Devices and scan the code.

Connection established

After scanning, the status will change to “Connected”. The platform can now send messages through this number.
The phone with WhatsApp needs to maintain an internet connection for the integration to work. If the phone goes offline for too long, you may need to reconnect.

Testing the connection

After connecting, you can send a test message to verify everything is working:
  1. Click “Send test message”
  2. Enter a phone number
  3. A test message will be sent
  4. Check if it arrived on WhatsApp

Disconnect

To disconnect WhatsApp, click “Disconnect” on the integration page. Messages will stop being sent immediately.

Pairing code

If the QR Code doesn’t work, a pairing code is also displayed below the QR Code. You can type this code manually in WhatsApp instead of scanning.

Notification preferences

Each student can configure their WhatsApp notification preferences in their profile:

Go to your profile

Click your avatar and go to “Profile”.

WhatsApp tab

In the WhatsApp preferences tab, enable “Receive WhatsApp notifications”.

Enter your number

Type your phone number with area code. Example: (81) 99999-9999.

Choose notifications

Select which notification types you want to receive.

Save

Click “Save preferences” to confirm.

Quiet hours

Messages are not sent between 10 PM and 8 AM (Brasilia time). Notifications generated during this period will be sent at the next available time.
Your phone number is used exclusively for platform notification delivery. You can disable notifications or change your preferences at any time.
