Managing your time

Timer

If the quiz has a time limit:
  • Countdown timer visible at the top
    • E.g., “Time remaining: 45:30”
  • Time warnings
    • When 10 minutes remain
    • When 5 minutes remain
    • When 1 minute remains
  • Automatic submission when time runs out

Time management tips

Example for a 60-minute quiz with 30 questions:
  • Calculate: 60 min / 30 questions = 2 min per question
  • Easy questions: 1 min
  • Hard questions: 3-4 min
  • Reserve 10 min for final review
If you don’t know:
  1. Flag it for review
  2. Skip to the next one
  3. Come back later if there is time left
  4. It is better to answer all than to get stuck
Efficient strategy:
  1. First pass: Answer the easy ones
  2. Second pass: Medium difficulty
  3. Third pass: Hard ones
  4. Final pass: General review

  • If it drops, reconnect quickly
Don’t worry:
  • Go back to the quiz page
  • Click “Continue attempt”
  • Your answers were saved
  • The timer continues counting normally
Possible causes:
  • Attempts exhausted
  • Deadline expired
  • Prerequisites not met (required lessons)
