Best practices

Short and focused lessons:
  • 5-10 minutes - Simple concepts
  • 10-15 minutes - Medium content (ideal)
  • 15-20 minutes - Complex topics
  • 20+ minutes - Split into parts
Attention decreases after 15 minutes!
Organize each lesson:
  1. Introduction (30s) - What will be learned
  2. Main content - Teaching the concept
  3. Practical example - Application
  4. Summary (30s) - Recap
  5. Next steps - What comes next
Visual engagement:
  • Use slides when necessary
  • Practical demonstrations
  • Avoid just a “talking head”
  • Good lighting and framing
  • Edit to remove long errors
Always provide:
  • Lesson summary in PDF
  • Links mentioned in the video
  • Code and examples
  • Practice exercises
  • Supplementary reading

Lesson analytics

View metrics per lesson:
  • Total views - How many times the lesson was accessed
  • Completion rate - % who finish
  • Total comments - Interactions on the lesson
  • Total reviews - Number of lesson reviews
  • Engagement - Calculated score based on views, comments, and reviews
Use data to improve:
  • Lessons with low completion → Simplify or split
  • Many comments/questions → Explain better
