Data analysis

Use data to understand your course performance, identify problematic lessons, and track student progress.

Teacher dashboard

The teacher panel displays a summary of your key metrics:

My courses

Total courses you teach

Total students

Sum of students enrolled across all your courses

Average rating

Average of ratings received on your courses

Completion rate

Percentage of completed enrollments
In addition to the indicators, the dashboard includes:
  • Course list with summarized metrics (students, lessons, completion, ratings)
  • Upcoming live lessons scheduled
  • Recent students who enrolled
  • Recent reviews with comments
  • Activity feed with events such as new lesson published, module completions, forum questions, and certificates issued

Course metrics

For each course, you can track:
MetricDescription
Enrolled studentsTotal students in the course
Total lessonsNumber of published lessons
Completion ratePercentage of students who completed the course
Average ratingAverage score given by students (0 to 5)
Total reviewsNumber of reviews received
Last updatedWhen the course was last modified
StatusActive or draft

Lesson metrics

Lesson-level analysis allows you to identify drop-off points and content that needs revision. For each lesson in the course, the system calculates:
MetricDescription
Total viewsHow many times the lesson was accessed
Total completionsHow many students marked it as completed
Completion rateLesson completion percentage
Total commentsInteractions on the lesson
Total reviewsNumber of lesson reviews
Average ratingAverage score (0 to 5)
EngagementCalculated score: views + (comments x 2) + (reviews x 3)
The engagement score weighs deeper interactions with higher multipliers. A lesson with many comments and reviews indicates high engagement, even with fewer views.
Metrics are organized by module, making it easier to identify entire modules that may have retention issues.

Quiz metrics

Performance overview

The quiz performance page displays a ranking of your quizzes with:
MetricDescription

Data refresh

Course and lesson metrics are calculated in real time from the database tables. For aggregated platform metrics (admin dashboard), the system uses materialized views that refresh every hour.
Teachers see metrics filtered to their own courses. For global platform metrics, administrator access is required.
